Hi!
We’re looking for a full-time hourly Marketing & Content Creator Intern that is excited to be a modern-day renaissance-(wo)man. First Ascent Design is a full service, digital marketing agency in Wilmington Delaware that is focused on email, search, and social as primary marketing channels. We believe that design is a multiplier of effort and that development and web assets are a critical piece of digital marketing. To execute campaigns, we manage strategy, content creation, design, and development. Your role will be to support the marketing team to write copy for social media posts, emails, blog  posts, and reports for our clients’ digital marketing campaigns. This will involve learning about our clients’ industries, brainstorming content ideas, researching topics, editing your work based on team feedback, and working alongside the broader team to support our clients. There are no pure managers here, everyone rolls up their sleeves and gets to work. We believe in professional development and training, and that attitude, honesty and work ethic will mean more than having experience in all the below responsibilities and having all qualifications.

Experience & Skills Required:
Strong team communication skills, comfortable collaborating and asking questions
Experience producing copy across multiple mediums for different audiences
A talent for delivering thoughtful, quality, typo-free content at an efficient pace
Strong conceptual and creative thinking
Comfort working closely with a team and receiving constructive feedback from multiple parties
Ability to self manage multiple projects and deliverables at the same time
Strict adherence to timelines
Entrepreneurial mentality, comfort in a fast-paced environment, and desire to constantly learn and improve
An interest in learning how a digital agency works and about digital marketing in general

Tasks:
Create compelling copy with a deep understanding of marketing strategy and ability to deliver against business goals
Research using internal and external resources
Blog article writing
Copywriting for email marketing campaigns
Social media content curation and writing
Digital and print ad copywriting
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure final deliverables are cohesive, consistent, and on-brand

You’ll Get:
$15/hour, up to 40/hr/wk,
Hybrid work schedule, 3 days/week on site in our Wilmington, DE office, 2 days/week remote.
Parking Reimbursement
Potential to transition into a full-time position or continue on a freelance basis at the end of the internship
Primary office location in Wilmington Delaware.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and computer printer.
Some travel or event attendance may be required
