We’re looking for a contract role for Partnerships Support that is excited to be a modern-day renaissance-(wo)man. First Ascent Design is a full service, digital marketing agency in Wilmington Delaware that is focused on email, search, and social as primary marketing channels. We believe that design is a multiplier of effort and that development and web assets are a critical piece of digital marketing. To execute campaigns, we manage strategy, content creation, design, and development. 

This role is perfect for a relationship-driven individual who thrives on connecting with people and identifying mutually beneficial partnerships. You’ll play a crucial role in expanding our client base by building authentic relationships and representing First Ascent in various professional settings. This is not a hard-selling position; instead, it focuses on understanding client needs and showcasing how our expertise can genuinely help them achieve their goals. This includes direct efforts such as events and groups, as well as back office support efforts such as CRM, calendar management, estimating, and proposal and contract writing.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in CRM software and project management software

  • Ability to travel locally for meetings and events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building & Networking:
    • Actively participate in in-person events, industry conferences, and networking groups to identify potential leads and build rapport.
    • Build relationships through one-on-one coffee meetings and lunches with prospective partners to understand their challenges and introduce our services.
    • Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
    • Represent First Ascent professionally and enthusiastically at all times.
    • Qualification of incoming new business leads
  • Event Support
    • First Ascent has in the past run panel events, small informal gatherings, webinars, seminars, and other community and networking events. This role would be responsible for bringing those events to life, including planning, project management, promotion, and marketing, alongside the support of the wider agency team.
  • Back-Office Support & Administration:
    • Prepare accurate project estimates in collaboration with our internal teams.
    • Develop compelling proposals and contracts tailored to client needs.
    • Maintain detailed and up-to-date client information within our CRM system.
    • Manage your calendar efficiently, scheduling meetings and follow-ups.
    • Manage and coordinate calendars with other agency representatives
    • Arranging travel for conferences, networking events, and speaking engagements
  • Agency Growth & Project Management:
    • Project manage new business initiatives and agency growth efforts, ensuring smooth execution from lead generation to client onboarding.
  • Perform other functions and duties as required
  • Bonus: A candidate with social media, photo, and/or video experience is a plus
