This role owns projects across the full video lifecycle—from concept development through final delivery—ensuring creative excellence, technical quality, and alignment with brand and business objectives. We are aiming to produce and edit social-first video content designed for distribution across multiple digital channels, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube alongside web, email, and video advertising, ensuring platform-specific optimization and best practices.

Pre-Production

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop video concepts, creative treatments, scripts, and storyboards.
  • Plan shoots including shot lists, locations, schedules, talent coordination, and production logistics.
  • Advise on creative approach, formats, and distribution strategy to ensure content is optimized for intended platforms and audiences.

Production

  • Capture high-quality video and audio content, including camera operation, lighting setup, and on-location or in-studio recording.
  • Direct on-screen talent (often non-actors) to achieve natural, effective performances aligned with project goals.
  • Manage production equipment and ensure proper setup, operation, and tear-down.
  • Maintain visual and audio quality standards during shoots and adapt to on-site challenges as needed.
  • Full responsibility for audio, lighting, and recording.

Post-Production

  • Video Editing & Post-Production
Assemble and refine raw footage, select optimal takes, and structure narratives to produce compelling final videos aligned with creative direction and project goals.
  • Color Grading & Correction
Perform color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency, enhance mood and tone, and deliver a polished, professional look.
  • Audio Mixing & Sound Design
Clean and balance dialogue, integrate music and sound effects, and master audio tracks to ensure clarity, impact, and platform-ready quality.
  • Motion Graphics & Titling
Design and animate titles, lower thirds, logos, and other motion graphic elements that elevate storytelling and clearly communicate key information. Larger animation capabilities are not required, but would be a bonus.
  • Footage & Asset Management
Organize, log, and maintain video, audio, and graphic assets to support efficient workflows and long-term accessibility.
  • Encoding & Final Delivery
Export and deliver final video assets in multiple formats optimized for social media, web, internal communications, and other distribution channels as required.

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with marketing, creative, and client-facing teams to align video content with campaigns and broader organizational initiatives.
  • Incorporate feedback and manage revisions while maintaining creative quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across pre-production, production, and post-production, including (but not limited to) editing assistance, transcription, captioning, asset organization, and creative ideation—while exercising sound judgment, protecting brand integrity, and following company guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support evolving business needs.
